Under-23 Cyclist racing for Kelly Benefits Cycling
I’m a cyclist racing for the Kelly Benefits Cycling U23 Development team attending the University of Colorado in Boulder. I grew up in Minnesota, where my passion for bike racing began. I have always found beauty in bicycles, the stories they tell, and the places they take you. I love the vast technical and tactical nuances of bike racing and hope to consider myself a student of the sport forever.
The Espoir Reports
Follow along with my blog as my teammates and I tackle races nationwide and abroad throughout the season! I will keep you updated with reports after each of the season's major races.
I have raced on the road since I was 9 years old, and I have grown a deep passion for the sport and wish to continue my pursuit of the highest level. I have competed in 5 Cyclocross and 4 Road National Championships, as well as 10 international stage races during my years as a junior and U23. I spent this past season competing in the biggest pro/1 races in the country, learning how to bounce back from mental and physical setbacks and how to support, shelter, and position team leaders. I enjoy a fast and aggressive style of racing. I love difficult races with punchy climbing and technical aspects, but I am also a savvy crit racer and enjoy technical criteriums with many corners. During my time in Spain in 2021, I raced for two months for Carmago’s Spanish junior team, racing in 5 international stage races. The European racing style suits me well, with lots of climbing and fast, aggressive racing. Throughout my time in Europe, I raced competitively and aggressively, racing at the front of each race and spending lots of time getting into strong breakaway moves.

I’m raising money to help cover travel costs and some expenses while I’m in Europe, where my teammates and I will be competing in Spain and Belgium in International U23 stage races and one days this summer.
